2024 Bachelet-Monnot Chassagne-Montrachet

Stated bluntly, Bachelet-Monnot simply nailed the 2024 vintage. They captured the laser focus and overall vibrancy of the year especially well. 

The Chassagne is one of the best examples that we've tasted. This is high praise. Bachelet-Monnot's Chassagne AC has become a staff favorite. It's a bottle that we return to often for its irresistible combination of charm and seriousness.

The 2024 represents a high-water mark. It has an amazing amount of finesse and luminous mineral precision. In short, there's a breeding and sophistication that greatly surpasses its villages level. Burghound's note captures the wine very well. He writes that it is "super-fresh with fine intensity that delivers first-rate length on the balanced and complex finale."

Brothers Marc and Alexandre Bachelet founded Bachelet-Monnot in 2005, and in no time their wines were stopping even the most jaded palates in their tracks. In recent vintages, they have been on a tear. The 2024s are certainly a high point. I'm very happy to offer this incredible success.
