Ballot-Millot has been amassing vineyards in Burgundy since the 17th century. Then came 2014, the breakout vintage for the domaine. Fast forward a decade, and in 2024 they made what may be the best wines to date.
Just to underscore how outrageously good the 2024 lineup is, it's worth it to quote Burghound at some length.

He writes: "As the comments and ratings confirm, this is an outstanding set of wines, indeed it is exceptionally rare that every wine is recommended. If you're not familiar with the Ballot wines, do yourself a favor and get to know them - you'll thank me."
Indeed, this is a dazzling group of wines.
Today, we're happy to offer Ballot-Millot's 2024 Meursault at sharp pricing.
Ballot-Millot's Meursault is one of our go-to bottles of white Burgundy. This bottle punches well above its weight class. It boasts undeniable energy and detail without sacrificing richness. In any vintage, there's impressive drive and presence.
The 2024 is likely the best example that we've tasted. There's a sculpted, sleek, polished mineral core that's really impressive. It's both rich and silky and nervy and rigorous. Simply put, this is a seriously impressive Meursault AC.
This shouldn't be missed, especially at this sharp price. I should warn you, though, that I bought every bottle that I could put my hands on, but it doesn't amount to much in the short 2024 vintage.

Burghound: "This is aromatically similar to the Bourgogne but with a bit more elegance and certainly more floral influence. The beautifully textured and sleeker, though not denser, flavors brim with minerality on the equally well-balanced, clean and attractively dry finale that is just a bit firmer. This is also very good for its level and worth considering."
