Brunate is one of the great sites of Barolo. It's famous for a combination of power and layered, finely-tuned harmony. Oddero owns a mere 0.43ha in a high-altitude section of the vineyard.
Oddero's 2019 Brunate has explosively complex aromatics. It has tremendous finesse and is nicely delineated. There's a gorgeous perfumed lift with a tense undercurrent of minerality.
Everything is in place for the 2019 Brunate to age beautifully. It's rare that you find such precision and harmony in a wine. This should not be missed.
