"This is at once delicate but punchy and really quite classy"
2019 Roulot Meursault 1er Cru Clos des Bouchères

As Burghound's note makes clear, the 2019 Clos des Bouchères has everything.

Roulot's 2019s are epic. The wines present themselves with a scale and level of detail that's amazing. They deliver clarity, precision, and power.

The 2019 Clos des Bouchères is a stunning example of the wine. There's a multi-dimensional complexity and completeness that's extraordinary.

In any vintage, Clos des Bouchères always amazes in how it combines saturating minerality with a dazzling gracefulness. It's a wine that's riveting. There's a tactile saline impression with beautiful delineation and incredible length.

It's really exciting to watch Roulot turn out absolutely brilliant wines from this monopole in recent vintages. Jean-Marc really has the site dialed in. It combines explosive power with a cool precision and intricate delicacy.

The 2019 is yet another example of why Roulot is one of the greatest producers of white wine on the planet. I'm very happy to offer, but I should make it very clear that quantities are extremely limited. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.

Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media: "This possesses the most elegant nose in the range with its airy, even wafting, aromas of lemon-lime, spice, gardenia and acacia blossom. The succulent, understated and delineated flavors danse across the palate where the sappy dry extract coats mouth while a subtle minerality adds a sense of lift to the sneaky long finish. This is at once delicate but punchy and really quite classy."
