Lafon's 2018 are some of my favorites of the vintage. When it comes to riper years, Lafon's wines are often amazing. The 2018s make this very clear.
Lafon's 2018 Meursault AC has incredible drive and precision while working on a breathtaking scale. The wine has a soaring and rigorous architecture.
When it comes to Meursault, Lafon has few peers. For comparisons, you'd have to look towards the wines of Roulot and Coche-Dury. Lafon's 2018 Meursault powerfully highlights the level that the domaine is working at.
