His first release was in 2011, and at this point, it's very clear that he has the site dialed in. In recent vintages, the precision and class that Roulot teases out of the site is amazing.

Clos des Bouchères is a thrilling wine that combines explosive power with a cool precision and intricate delicacy. The wine always amazes with how it combines saturating minerality with a dazzling gracefulness. It has a tactile saline impression with beautiful delineation and incredible length.
Roulot's 2023 collection was the greatest group of white Burgundies that I tasted during a recent trip to Burgundy. No one made 2023 whites with a similar level of focus and elegance. The group that I was traveling with left the Roulot tasting dumbfounded by how good the wines were.
The 2023 1er Cru Clos des Bouchères boasts a beautiful radiance and an incisive presence. Burghond calls the wine "super-sleek," and that gets to the beating heart of the wine. There's a focused and polished elegance to the 2023 that's stunning.
Roulot is one of the greatest producers of white wine on the planet. The 2023 Clos des Bouchères makes this clear yet again.
