Scharzhofberger Kabinetts, in any vintage, thrive on a steely finesse that's full of cut and mineral-drenched length that boasts the wine's nobility.
With that said, we're especially excited about the 2020 Kabinett. The wines that we've tasted from the Mosel and the Saar show an amazing interplay of density and steely verve. They combine a tactile mineral presence with cool-toned fruits and a beautiful freshness.
Müller's Kabinett has a magical ability to combine intensity and a seemingly miraculous weightlessness. Expect the 2020 to be an especially thrilling example of this remarkable signature.
It's hard not to be in awe of Egon Müller. From his Scharzhofberg vineyard, Müller crafts the most consistently great Rieslings on the planet. There is no doubt the 2020 will join a select group of utterly remarkable Müller Kabinetts. I'm very happy to have the opportunity to offer the 2020 Kabinett again.
