The 2018 Chassagne 1er Cru Maltroie offers up a radiant core with a perfectly integrated richness. There's a lovely ethereal spice-inflected floral top note. The wine is further animated by currents of citrus.
It's nice to see Moreau at the top of his game. The wine is a study in drive, punch, and precision. In short, it's beautifully composed and shouldn't be missed.
