"This is the finest wine to date... "

2010 Mugnier Nuits St. Georges
1er Cru Clos de la Maréchale

When I saw a small parcel of Mugnier's 2010 Maréchale, I jumped on it.

There was no way that I was going to miss an opportunity to get more of this wine.

I remember tasting the 2010 Maréchale for the first time and being blown away. I'd been watching the Maréchale steadily improve over the years, but 2010 marked a radical break from all that came before.

I'm not alone in my enthusiasm. John Gilman writes, "This is the finest wine to date produced from this lovely vineyard."

The 2010 Maréchale shocks with the level of elegance and purity that it delivers. Mugnier has quickly risen to join Burgundy's elite. His signature is transparency, fineness and regal elegance. They are simply beautiful wines.

Of course, such beauty comes at a price. Mugnier's wines can command serious prices. Here is another place where Maréchale stands out. It delivers tremendous value. In 2010, it represents one of the smartest buys of the vintage.

Nuits St. Georges is known for its muscle, its characterful rustic edge. Without betraying the inherent muscle of the Nuits, Mugnier's 1er Cru Clos de la Maréchale renders it an incredible amount of refinement. Maréchale is a monopole of the Mugnier family and always delivers well-delineated notes of earth, mineral, dark red fruits and flowers.

As many of you know, 2010 is a very short vintage and a very good one. I'm very lucky to have landed this parcel, but please understand that it's a modest one. Please give us your ideal order and we'll try our best.
