Bessin-Tremblay's Chablis has cemented its place in our white Burgundy program.Â

They are certainly Chablis that capture your attention. The wines combine honesty, polish, and intensity. Bessin-Tremblay is producing some of the best examples of Chablis that we've tasted.
Valmur is one of my favorite sites in Chablis. It's energetic, ruthlessly mineral, and incredibly finessed. Along with Raveneau and Moreau-Naudet, Bessin's example makes the greatness of the site very obvious.
Bessin-Tremblay's 2023 Valmur is a force to reckon with. It has a tightly coiled minerality and serious gripping power. This is backed by a stony incisiveness. The staining oceanic element and complex layers of citrus and herbal notes further endow this with a regal presence.Â
In short, this is a dynamite bottle of Grand Cru Chablis. Unfortunately, quantities are very limited. I suggest getting your orders in early.
