We've lost track of how many times that he's produced some of the top wines of the vintage.
Lieser's 2013s are really exciting. As Joel B. Payne's note makes clear, the Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr Spätlese is at the top of the list.
Out of Lieser's two top sites, Niederberg Helden and Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenhuhr, the latter delivers the more elegant and finer wines. It's one of the Mosel's great sites.
The tense and blatantly mineral nature of 2013 allowed Haag to deliver a BJS Spätlese with pinpoint clarity. The signature at Lieser is a certain intensity married to a brilliant precision and cut. The 2013 represents this at its best.
The high level of quality that's coming out of Schloss Lieser hasn't gone unnoticed. Our Lieser offers sell out almost without fail. I should warn you that this is a small parcel.
