The 2013 Clos des Lambrays is an especially refined and dancingly elegant version of this wine. The vintage's heartbreaking soil and mineral inflected purity is on bold display. This vividness is complemented by a gripping palate presence and a complex spectrum of dark fruits, spice, earth and minerality. The tension and harmony make it obvious that this will age very well.
Clos des Lambrays is known for its commanding structure. The 2013 is not shy on muscle and backbone, but what really stands out is its walk on tiptoe finesse.
