"Though it's hardly news at this point, the domaine has been on a roll over the last 5-ish years and 2023 should only add to that string of successes." -Burghound
Leflaive has long been one of the benchmark producers of white Burgundy. The domaine exists within the rarefied realm of Coche-Dury, Lafon, Roulot, and Ramonet.

While Leflaive's wines from the 80s and 90s are simply superb, it is abundantly clear that Leflaive's wines from the past decade are at that level. Things have obviously kicked into high gear.
Pucelles is undoubtedly one of the high points. Of course, this isn't much of a surprise. Pucelles is Leflaive's top 1er Cru and arguably Puligny's best 1er Cru. Like Meursault Perrieres, Pucelles can easily compete with Grand Crus. It possesses a riveting grandeur and supreme elegance. The depth, clarity, and overall completeness are captivating.
The 2023 Pucelles possesses a riveting grandeur and supreme elegance. The depth, clarity, and overall completeness is captivating. The breeding, detail, and complexity are just that great.
Few things make me happier than witnessing Leflaive firing on all cylinders. There's no doubt that the 2023 is an example of Lefalive in top form.
