The Chambolle is always supremely graceful with a hauntingly gorgeous perfume. This is a wine of transparency and heartbreaking delicacy. It strikes me just how intricate, expressive, and profoundly soulful it is.
We are excited to begin offering Jouan's 2023s. The domaine thrives in vintages like 2023. In warm years, the wines are finely tuned, delivering both impact and energetic terroir imprints.
You can expect the 2023 Chambolle to have an extra textural element that makes it incredibly seductive. The wine's silky mouthfeel, minerality, and penetrating complexity is compelling.
Jouans are some of the most delightfully pensive Burgundies that I know of. I'm very happy to offer this great example of Jouan's style.
