When it comes to Jouan's 2017s, and especially the Clos St-Denis, the buoyant luminosity of the vintage really helps the wine assume fascinating angles. In short, the vintage endowed the wine with extra dimensions. It possesses haunting aromatics, finesse, and depth of minerality.
