"This is a superb Scharzhof" -Mosel Fine Wines

Typically, QbA is a humble category, housing producers' "Estate" wines. They can be nice wines, but seldom are they profound.

Müller's QbA transcends the entire designation. It's without peer.

It is the rare QbA you'd be wise to forget about for a decade.

It is sourced from Saarburger Rausch, the Oberemmeler Rosenberg, the Wiltinger Kupp, and the Wiltinger Braunfels. The combination of top vineyards and Müller's magical touch leave an obvious mark on the wine.

In any vintage, Müller Scharzhof QbA offers a soaring minerality with notes of herbs, stone fruits, and spice. Along with being totally delicious, it's a wine that always offers incredible class and elegance. The 2022 QbA stands out for its finesse and lift. There's a captivating luminous quality to the wine.

In recent years, Müller's QbA has gained a cult following. Each vintage, we buy every bottle that we can get our hands on. It's one of those "little wines" that takes on a much bigger life in the minds of riesling lovers.

Title

Mosel Fine Wines: "The 2022er Riesling Scharzhof is a fruity-styled wine made from the Estate’s holdings in the Saarburger Rausch, the Oberemmeler Rosenberg, the Wiltinger Kupp, and the Wiltinger Braunfels. It offers a very delicate and elegant peach-driven nose of candied grapefruit, minty herbs, lime tree, fine herbs, and smoke. The wine proves superbly zesty and straight on the light-weighted and finely creamy palate. The finish is still marked by some CO2 in need of integration, but the length is superb. The after-taste is just slightly off-dry in taste. This is a superb Scharzhof, which will need a few years to fully deliver."
