The first vintage of Masseto was 1988. It quickly became one of the most important and collected wines of Tuscany. There are three vineyards that are used for Masseto. Depending on the vintage, all or just some of the vineyards will be selected for bottling. Regardless, it represents a painstaking selection and then, a masterful blend to achieve the unique completeness and harmony that is Masseto.
