"Very fine quality for a villages-level Chassagne and well-worth checking out." -Burghound

For many years, Moreau's Chassagne has been our go-to wine of the lineup.

Alex Moreau is simply one of the most talented producers of white Burgundy. The Chassagne AC stands out as a testament to his skill as a winemaker.

The Chassagne combines explosive aromatics with power and a beautiful gracefulness. What's amazing is how Moreau weaves this intensity into a wine of incredible harmony and drive.

For white Burgundy, 2020 is simply a brilliant vintage. Earlier this year, I tasted extensively through Burgundy and found the 2020 whites absolutely stunning. In short, it's a special vintage.

Moreau's 2020 Chassagne is easily one of the best examples of the wine we've encountered. It's quite powerful and persistent while maintaining excellent verve and great precision. The texture is gloriously silky and finely calibrated. Overall, it struts a complexity and class that far transcends its villages status.

I'm very happy to offer this great example of Moreau's Chassagne at the lowest price around. I suggest that you stock up. Their Chassagne ages beautifully and the 2020 will be one of the greats.

Burghound: "The underlying fruit is presently masked by just enough reduction to blur the nuance. More interesting are the solidly concentrated and sappy flavors that possess even better volume before culminating in a mouth coating and unusually powerful finish that possess excellent depth and persistence for a wine at this level. Very fine quality for a villages-level Chassagne and well-worth checking out."
