Vincent Dureuil returned to his family's domaine in 1994, and we've been fans of the wines since we opened in 2005. From the start, Dureuil had a singular focus on quality. The wines work on a scale and a level of precision that is jaw-dropping.
This goes a long way in explaining why Vincent Dureuil produces the only cult wines of Côte Chalonnaise.
The 1er Cru Clos du Meix Cadot has long been one of the domaine's most important sites. It's a warmer south-facing lieu-dit that produces multifaceted wines of depth and finesse. The 2022 has a marvelous tension-filled core that makes it absolutely thrilling.Â
