The 2020 vintage is a riper and more powerful one. For Castell'in Villa, the vintage allowed them to produce a wine of amazing grace and refinement along with plenty of immediate textural appeal. It's incredibly multifaceted, with layers of black cherry fruit, florals, savory herbs, spices, minerals, and smoke. There's a dancing finesse to it.
Castell'in Villa is one of the most historic, time-tested estates in the region. Their style of harmony and precision allows the wines to age incredibly well while remaining ultra-finessed and agile. While the 2020 is drinking beautifully right now, there's an impressive future for the wine.Â
