I had a lot of fun putting this white Burgundy list together.
There are a huge number of bottles on the list that I'd like to drink.
In the list below, you'll find selections of Dauvissat, Coche-Dury, and Lafon. There's also Leflaive's and Colin-Morey's brilliant 2019s.
Dujac's 1er Cru Monts Luisants Blanc is one of the more esoteric listings and demands some attention. Simply put, Dujac's whites are thrilling, eye-opening wines. The 1er Cru Monts Luisants sits above the Grand Cru Clos de la Roche. The lower section of Luisants is actually part of Clos de le Roche. Dujac's 2017 Luisants Blanc is bold and powerful with incredible detail and stony minerality.
Similarly, De Montille's Puligny Cailleret may keep a low profile, but it's one of the most exciting bottles of white Burgundy that we taste each vintage. The 2017 1er Cru Le Cailleret is a pristine expression of white Burgundy. It combines a stony intensity with incredible grace and precision. It is absolutely stunning out of magnums.
There's much more below. I'll let you get to checking out the full list, but please keep in mind that quantities are very limited.
