Last week's red Burgundy magnum list was met with such a strong response that I felt compelled to come back with an offering of white Burgundy magnums.
Like last week's offer, this list covers nearly three dozen different white Burgundies in magnum with much of the region's top talent available.
You'll find an ample amount of Dauvissat, Raveneau, and Roulot, along with Lamy's Puligny Les Tremblots Haute Densité and Leflaive's extraordinary Bâtard-Montrachet and Chevalier-Montrachet.
Outside of this realm, there's Valette's beautifully pure and naturally made Mâcon-Chaintre. There's also Picq's Chablis. For a very long time, Picq's Chablis has been the go-to wine of value hunters after the real deal. The Vaudecorse is an old vine bottling that's consistently one of the best of the lineup.
