Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey is perhaps the most exciting young winemaker in Burgundy.

If it hasn't happened already, there's no doubt in my mind that people will speak about Colin-Morey's wines in the same hushed way that they speak of Coche-Dury and Jean-Marc Roulot.

Without a single drop of hype: These are extraordinary wines - very obviously some of the greatest white Burgundies that are being made anywhere, by anyone.

Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey

Colin-Morey is a white wine specialist and his wines are Chardonnay at its most intense, its most pure, its most integrated. They are crystalline expressions of citrus, flower, stone fruits and mineral with explosive complexity and rigorous detail.

It's always helped me in understanding Colin-Morey's singular style to think about his obsession with Riesling. "Riesling is the model for me. Trimbach’s Clos Ste Hune 1990 from Alsace in particular," Pierre Colin-Morey told Jancis Robinson. You can feel this in his wines with their elegant threads of acidity, how they carry their concentration with no impression of heaviness, and their impeccably sculpted quality.

This offer is really more about introducing these wines to those who might care and less about any great financial benefit. These wines are painfully limited and with a few phone calls we could sell them all.

But these are wines that really deserve a larger audience and so here we are. Every single bottle in this lineup is utterly compelling. We simply can't recommend them more highly.

Colin-Morey's 2010s are some of the best wines that we've tasted from the domaine. In 2010, Colin-Morey's style found an ideal vintage to express itself.

Please see the full list of wines below, but highlights include the energetic and mineral Chassagne 1er Baudines, the Meursault Narvaux with its florality, white peach and classic hazelnut notes and Puligny Le Trezin, a stunningly precise village wine.

Colin-Morey is white Burgundy so well crafted that they're almost without peers. As we mentioned earlier, these are extremely limited. Give us your maximum order and we'll allocate accordingly.
