The 2019 Rosé is a large-scale example of the wine with a core of freshness, salinity, and floral tinged red fruits. It boasts an incredible architecture with a tactile and chalky minerality.
With age, there is a silky texture and gentle floral notes, but it's the stony minerality that defines old Cotat rosé. It's the terroir that comes to dominate the rosé with a singular minerality. This is what makes Cotat's rosé so exciting.
We've had bottles of Pascal Cotat's Rosé with 10 and even 20 years of age that have blown us away. We strongly advise you to stash a few bottles in the cellar.
