The 2023 Chaillot is an amazing success. It has a shocking combination of power, purity, and detail. Few producers other than Allemand could deliver a wine that managed to combine such intensity and such finely tuned harmony.
Reynard is the old-vine bottling that boasts the most intricate density of Allemand's incredibly refined wines. In 2023, Reynard has a heartbreaking fineness, a delicately etched crushed-rock minerality, and a rigorous acid spine. In 2023, this is delivered with pitch-perfect and utterly compelling clarity.Â
The 2023s are yet another example of how Allemand's wines are without peer. The wines have a brilliant vividness and jaw-dropping balance. I'm very happy to offer these.Â
