Envínate

In 2008, four friends from Enology school changed the face of Spanish wine.

Together, Envínate's Roberto Santana, Alfonso Torrente, Laura Ramos, and José Martínez produce wines from the obscure corners of Spain which are unmatched in their purity, textural allure, and fascination. They are wines that will leave an immediate and profound impression.

Their Canary Islands vineyards are picturesque. Ungrafted vines are perched on cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. These vines, many as old as 50-100 years (sometimes even older) dig into volcanic soils. These are old-school mixed plantings with such an assortment of native varietals that not all of them have been identified. Across both their whites and reds, each wine is beautifully delineated and amazingly clear, with invigorating freshness and an ethereal mineral imprint.
