Les Iles Feray has a riveting purity and is utterly delicious. It's a habit-forming bottle in how it combines fascination with outright drinkability. Gonon’s signature is pitch-perfect clarity with an intricate and detailed presentation of blackberries, olives, violets, spice, and forest floor notes wrapped around a smoke-infused minerality. This is authentic northern Rhône rendered with the utmost care.The Les Iles Feray is mostly sourced from parcels lower on the slopes of their Saint Joseph vineyards, and a small portion of young vines further up the slopes. The wine is incredibly agile, pure, and offers up a complicated assortment of bright fruit, spice, floral notes, and minerality. The 2019 offers a beautiful presentation with ample fruit and buoying freshness.
