Last week, we offered Egon Müller's Auslese. We couldn't resist offering one more of Müller's wines before the week ended.

As we said in the Auslese offering, for us, Müller makes some of the greatest wines in the world.

Their wines have a fineness, length and miraculous weightlessness that is just breathtaking.

Today, I'm happy to offer Egon Müller's 2013 Scharzhofberger Spätlese for $184.95.

The cut and the precision of the 2013 is amazing, as is the intensity. Müller's yield in 2013 was a tiny 10hl/ha. It created an amazing cast of wines, but there are painfully few bottles to go around. It's a shame, because Müller's 2013s are really, really impressive, especially the Spätlese. There's a level of mineral density that makes it a unique expression of the wine.

I'm going to wrap this up. Müller is never in good supply, but this is an especially modest parcel. Please give us your ideal order and we'll try our best.
