Mugnier's Chambolle delivers an enormous amount of detail, finesse, and ultra-fine persistence. Mugnier's is an exemplar of the beautiful silken elegance that Chambolle does better than any other place.
When I tasted through Mugnier's 2017s, I was really impressed by their vivid, ample red fruits and their crystalline precision. The 2017 highlights the beauty of Mugnier's Chambolle. It really dramatizes the tightly coiled focus and finesse that are the hallmarks of the wine. The thread of minerality and well-defined aromatics make for a dynamic and deeply impressive wine.Â
