Abtserde is Keller's top site. In the Middle Ages, this site was considered the finest vineyard in Keller's area of the Rheinhessen, known as the Hügelland. The wines from the vineyard were strictly reserved for the Bishop of nearby Worms.
The 2018 offers up a combination of mineral-laden concentration and almost weightless poise. You get a pristine stony and saline minerality that carries through the seriously long refined finish. Overall, there's an indescribable complexity and silken harmony.
As Abtserde always is, the 2018 is very limited. Our recent offers have sold out in hours. It's very likely this one will follow the same course.
