A Dream Brew, Last Chance
2015 Jean-Luc Jamet Côte-Rôtie Terrasses

I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to reload on Jean-Luc Jamet 2015 Côte-Rôtie Terrasses

Our initial offering in the spring sold out quickly, it's nice to have more to offer. If you missed the original offer, I strongly advise you snap some of this up. There's little hope of landing another parcel.

The Côte-Rôties of the Jamet family have long been the benchmark for traditional Côte-Rôtie and compete with the greatest that the Northern Rhône has to offer.

In 2013, brothers Jean-Luc and Jean-Paul announced that they would be splitting up the family's domaine. For many years, Jean-Paul was the face of the domaine and Jean-Luc was always in the vineyards. Jean-Luc now stepped out of the shadows.

The Jamet brothers are blessed with owning some of Côte Rôtie's greatest sites. Jean-Luc's Côte-Rôtie Terrasses displays the sort of breeding that makes the impressive roster of sites clear. To name only a few, there's La Landonne, Chavaroche and Lancement.

The 2015 is simply killer. Across the Northern Rhône, the 2015 delivered a dream brew of concentration with clarity and finesse.

Compared to the brightness that we've associated with the Jamet family estate, Jean-Luc Jamet's Côte Rôtie Terrasses introduces a darker, meatier and more savory profile. The 2015 has a thundering length and dark fruits, spice, notes of herbs, game and floral high tones. The level of depth and precision is serious.

Already in his first few vintages, Jean-Luc Jamet has established the domaine as one of the top talents in Côte-Rôtie. Thankfully, for now, prices remain at about half what the wines of Jean-Paul Jamet's wines cost. As Jean-Luc's profile increases, prices are sure to increase quickly. Don't miss the epic 2015 at this pricing.
