The 2018 is such a vintage. It hits a level of the power, detail, and velvety texture that only the best vintages of Corbeaux reach. There's incredible length and balance. It all adds up to an irresistible wine that's also made for the long-haul.
Bachelet's Gevrey Corbeaux comes from very old vines, ranging from 60 to 70 years in age. It is a powerful, deep, and complex wine, The wine always shows an impressive concentration and Gevrey's typical muscle, but it carries its weight effortlessly, leaving an impression of fine-ness and discreetness.
