For Brunello, 2010 is one of our favorite vintages of the past couple of decades. It has everything - concentration, clarity, and length.

The 2010 Cerbaie is a perfect follow up to the 2006, which is one of the most popular wines in Crush history. People returned to the wine again and again for its honesty and its value. There's no doubt that the 2010 will gain a strong following. It's rare to be able to offer a Brunello that's just entering its drinking window for as little as $59.95.

Brunello is the most powerful expression of Sangiovese. Yet our favorite expressions are extremely aromatic running the gamut from smoke to fresh black cherry, to bramble, fresh-cut grass, and floral notes. This is the wavelength that Cerbaie works on.

This finesse and balance are also in part due to Cerbaie's roots in the northern part of Montalcino. The Cerbaie is largely sourced from the famed Montosoli cru. Cerbaie's parcels are about 300 meters above sea level, where the conditions are ideal for making finessed, balanced, and aromatically complex Brunellos.

In 2010, you have an incredible sense of transparency allied to pure power. It's a vintage that's impossible not to take notice of. Since the initial release, the quality of the vintage has only become clearer.

The 2010 Cerbaie leads with striking aromatics and offers layers of pure, dense fruit, dried flowers, and spice. The wine reveals a thrilling depth and concentration while remaining lifted. In short, it's a wine of shocking harmony, power, and finesse.

The majority of the 2010 Brunellos have disappeared from the market. It's a real luxury to be able to offer a 2010 ten years on and at this price point. I don't expect this to stick around for long.
