Simply put, this Champagne is seriously compelling, and the price is beyond belief.
We are constantly on the hunt for champagnes that clock in under $50. It's very rare that we find one that truly delivers.

This helps to situate what an incredible find the G. Wanner Blanc de Blancs is. It immediately assumed an essential place in our value champagne arsenal. When you factor in the price, it's difficult to ask for much more from a bottle of champagne.
This Blanc de Blancs possesses an uncommon density and finely etched detail. It is crystalline and bright, with a citrus and mineral-tinged finesse that drives across the palate. There's a beautiful sleekness to it.
The champagne is sourced from the Côte de Sézanne, which is located south of the Côte des Blancs. It's made by Pierre Hugo, whose impressive resumé includes working at Liger-Belair and Roulot. Hugo's main project is Champagne Hélène. Both his work at Hélène and G. Wanner highlight a very young winemaker with an amazing sense of how to craft kinetic and elegant champagnes.
Finding champagnes this good at this price feels like a gift. We strongly advise that you pick up a few bottles. You'll want to have this on hand.
