I combed through our Germany inventory and focused on our favorite producers.
The list covers a lot of ground - everything from the Saar to the Pfalz and ranging from aristocratic estates, like Egon Müller, to exciting young producers, like Julian Haart.
On the dry side, you'll find things like von Winning's grandly sculpted wines to the rapier cut wines of Emrich-Schönleber and wildly transparent wines of Rebholz. Not to mention Weiser-Künstler's brilliant Grosse Eule.
On the sweet side, there's a healthy amount of Willi Schaefer and Egon Müller. Also included are the wines of Julian Haart. After an almost unbelievable series of apprenticeships (he did stints with Egon Müller, Klaus Peter Keller, Werner Schönleber and Rheinhard Löwenstein), he settled in the Mosel and almost immediately was catapulted into the Mosel's elite.
I'll let you get to the list. This is an opportunity to grab some of Germany's top bottles, many of which are painfully rare.
