For the collector new to dry Riesling, these are both simply benchmark wines. For the purist, there is almost nothing these wines don’t have. For reasons that are honestly unclear to most savvy buyers in the know, Lauer's Grand Crus can be had at prices that are more than reasonable.

Today we are thrilled to offer Lauer’s 2022 Kupp and Feils GG at $51.95 per bottle.
These are among the most complete dry Rieslings Lauer has ever made. They are plush yet superbly detailed. They have density, yet they don’t feel the least bit heavy. They ripple with energy and have stunning length.
The Saar, this ultra-cool land, is able to shape wines of power and depth, but there is always a compactness, a restraint. In this “ripe” vintage, both dry Rieslings transcend fruit and indulge instead in a vivid florality, a perfumed herbal language of mint, bergamot, and orange blossom. There is an underlying tension with notes of unctuous citrus oils that seem to emerge directly from the salty, polished mineral core of the wines.
