His daughter Maria Teresa, who has been at the helm since her father's passing, remains just as ardent an advocate of all things traditional. The current quality at Mascarello is incredibly high.
The Langhe Nebbiolo is a fascinating and utterly delicious expression of Mascarello's style. The 2017 has the typical bright floral notes, with sweet herbs and spices. The 2017 is on the elegant, red-fruited spectrum of the wine. The radiant gracefulness is really appealing.
