Foillard is one of the undisputed great producers of Beaujolais and 2014 is easily one of the strongest Beaujolais vintages of the past decade.

We first offered Foillard's Côte du Py a year ago. Ever since, we've re-bought the wine at every opportunity. Today, we're happy to offer the stash that we've accumulated, in both bottles and magnums.

Foillard's Côte du Py is one of the stars of the 2014 vintage. The general quality of the vintage is very high. It offers a perfectly metered combination of structure, concentration and energy. We haven't seen such balanced proportions in a long time.

Still, as he often does, Foillard takes the vintage to another level. Foillard's 2014 Côte du Py boasts a vivid transparency with lifted wild cherry and floral-tinged notes, along with nimble finesse. There's a really lovely suave textural element. In sum, the 2014 Côte du Py really dazzles.

There's no doubt that this is a don't-miss vintage of Foillard's Côte du Py. We expect it to age well for the next 5-7 years and beyond. We're very happy to have the opportunity to offer this again. It seems destined to be one the best Côte du Py's of the past decade.
