Mugneret-Gibourg:
From Bourgogne to Clos Vougeot

It's very rare that I get to offer Mugneret-Gibourg at this level of breadth.

It seems that every single wine the Mugneret sisters make is aggressively chased down. It's been a few years since I've been able to put together an offering.

These are easy wines to become obsessed with. Across the range, the wines are texturally beguiling, transparent, and supremely elegant. Even their Bourgogne Rouge is painfully rare.

Their Vosne is one of the great examples of village Burgundy. It's a heart breaking tapestry of suave, velvety dark fruits, earth, and exotic spices. Their Nuits-Saint-Georges Chaignots bottlings are the most elegant examples around.

The Chambolle 1er Cru Les Feusselottes is a jaw-dropping wine with incredible finesse. Finally, the Clos Vougeot is quite possibly the greatest example of this Grand Cru.
