He is a 5th generation winemaker who took over the domaine in 2005 and immediately turned out breathtaking examples of Burgundy.
From Villages to Grand Cru, Duroché's entire lineup is seriously impressive. With that said, we're especially fond of the Gevrey AC bottling. It makes abundantly clear the precision and attention to detail that's in play at this domaine.
The 2021 vintage allowed Duroché to showcase the focus and tension that he's able to bring to the Gevrey bottling. It offers up lovely aromatics and a sleekly polished mineral core. You're left with both an impression of honesty and refinement.
This is a bottle that shows Duroché in top form. It has all of the qualities that have made us so enamored with the wines since the first time that we tasted them. We strongly suggest that you try at least a couple bottles.
