Aurélien Laherte has emerged as one of the most talented growers in Champagne. The majority of Laherte's vines are in Coteaux Sud d’Epernay, an area between the Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne. Their very conscientious biodynamic farming helps to create wines of incredible clarity with deep mineral imprints.

The Blanc de Blancs is mainly sourced from Coteaux Sud d’Epernay, with a small amount of wine from Côte des Blancs. The Coteaux Sud d’Epernay has chalky soil with a thin layer of clay on top.

We count it among the most fascinating expressions of Chardonnay from Champagne. There's such an intriguing depth of minerality and length that is complicated by a racy spine and layered notes of citrus and stone fruits.

This is an outrageous deal on a characterful and beautifully composed Champagne. Finding something that delivers so much for the price is very rare.
