Today, I'm happy to offer rare large formats from Roagna, including three and five-liters.Â
I'm happy to have the opportunity to offer magnums and three-liters of 2016 Albesani. The Albesani Cru is the source of Giacosa’s famed Santo Stefano. The parcel that Roagna rents is near Giacosa’s and is situated in the sweet spot of the cru.
There are also a few selections from the Vecchie Viti bottlings. The Vecchie Viti comes from Roagna's oldest vines, including ungrafted ones and vines that were planted in 1937. It offers an incredible amount of nuance and depth.
