Cuvée du Goulté is Ledru's top wine and in 2013, it is dynamite.

As you can imagine, in recent years Goulté has become painfully rare. Landing it in any quantity has become next to impossible. If you were to go looking for any vintage of Goulté, you'd find 2 listings in the country.

Goulté is all Pinot Noir and sourced from her best parcels in Ambonnay, one of Champagne's best Crus. It's also based on the first juice to come out of the press, which is considered to be the finest.

Ledru's Goulté is always a wine of intensity and pristine elegance. It possesses an unobstructed steely, chalky backbone and incredibly clear and floral accented red fruits. 2013 is the most impressive vintage of the wine that we've seen in some time. You get more presence than many recent vintages, but at the same time everything feels more refined and focused.
