A couple of weeks ago, we offered Boncie's 2022 Le Trame. Today, we're happy to offer the Chiesamonti.
Chiesamonti made its debut in the 2018 vintage. It is sourced from Castelnuovo Berardenga, a town adjacent to San Felice, where Le Trame comes from. The soils here are stonier, and Chiesamonti has a distinctively sleek elegance.
There's no doubt that Boncie's wines hit a high-water mark with the 2021 vintage. With the 2022s, this estate goes from strength to strength.
The 2022Â Chiesamonti has incredible textural allure and harmony. There's plenty of power, but the wine manages to define itself with lift and precision. There's depth with notes that range from forest floor to spices and sunbaked herbs.Â
