Drouhin's Vosne 1er Cru is one of the great values in their vast and formidable lineup.
You don't have to look any further than the sites that are historically included in the wine to have a clear picture of what makes it special. It typically comes from Petits Monts, Malconsorts and Chaumes. The first two in particular are among the top sites in what's arguably Burgundy's greatest village.

Drouhin is unusually successful in ripe vintages, like 2020. Its hallmarks of finesse and purity find the perfect complement in warmer years. Drouhin adroitly manages a balance of delicacy matched with plenty of supple, mid-palate weight. In classic Drouhin style, there is nothing exorbitantly flashy about this wine - just a really gorgeous, pure expression of one of Burgundy's greatest villages.
When it comes to the 2020 Vosne 1er Cru, the wine has some serious mineral coursing through it along with beautiful spice and high-toned notes. It also has a really impressive velvety texture. There's something undeniably regal about the wine.
This is a bottle that perfectly sums up why I like Drouhin so much. At their best, Drouhins come across with an unmediated purity that is haunting.
