The Morey, which comes from three lieux-dits, Crais Gillon, Corvées, and Le Village, is the perfect match between site and Jouan’s style.
Morey is known for its earthy muscle. Jouan takes Morey's signatures and introduces a haunting delicacy and whispering nuance to it. Combine this with the textual intrigue that Jouan endows his wines with, and you have an irresistible combination.
The 2022 promises to be an absolutely lovely example of Jouan's Morey. The vintage produced beautifully expressive Burgundies with a shocking amount of lift. All of the elements are in place for a not to be missed vintage of the Morey bottling.
