Like so many others, we find Foillard's wines totally irresistible.
The Morgon Elles is yet another entry of Foillard's that we love to drink, but there's a twist.
Elles is made by Jean Foillard's wife Agnès and her friend Nadine. They use Jean's grapes and produce a wine of beautiful clarity.

Compared to Côte du Py, the Elles is less rich. It is most similar to Jean's Corcelette bottling. It has almost the same luminous and silken quality. Expect gentle spiced and floral tinged cherry fruits backed by a stony minerality.
As you can guess, Elles is absolutely delicious and food friendly. This is a really impressive effort from Agnès and Nadine. We encourage Beaujolais fans to check it out.
