Out of Selosse's lineup, his rosé is one of the hardest to find in quantity.
It's rare that we're able to offer it, and when we do, it's always to a very small group of Selosse buyers.
Even out of a lineup of wildly singular wines, the rosé stands out.
The magic of the rosé is how it combines a penetrating minerality wrapped around a rich, layered complexity. The two are seamlessly integrated. Ultimately, it's this balancing act that makes the wine so thrilling.
The rosé possesses a regal, statuesque presence and grandeur that immediately announces itself. Explosive and detailed notes of chalk, flowers, and kaleidoscopic red fruits jump from the glass. As extroverted as Selosse's Rosé is, there's so much depth and nuance that it's a wine that begs for meditation.
Champagne expert Peter Liem has written the following about Selosse: "It’s rare to find a champagne, or indeed, a wine of any kind, as profound in its expression." The rosé is an incredibly compelling example of just how complex and moving Selosse can be.
I'm always excited to offer Selosse's Rosé, but I also approach rosé offerings with trepidation. There's simply never enough to go around. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.
