I'm going to keep this brief. There's no doubt that this small parcel of 2019 Morgon magnums will disappear.
Lapierre's Morgon serves as an archetype of purity and deliciousness. Few wines offer so much joyful drinking. In riper vintages, Lapierre gains more punch and an extra dimension of complexity without sacrificing the levity or that granite-inflected minerality that makes drinking Lapierre so lovely.
The 2019 is another example of Lapierre succeeding in a ripe vintage. It's a concentrated vintage for the wine with a washing freshness on the backend that keeps it lively.
The combination of frost, hail, and high temperatures in 2019 reduced yields greatly. We never have enough magnums to meet demand, but it's particularly bad this year. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.
