This is one of our favorite vintages for Allemand and the northern Rhône in general. It has everything: clarity, balance, and concentration. As time has gone by, Allemand's 2016s have impressed us more and more.
Given the quantities, I'm hesitant to write this, but Allemand's 2016 Reynard is brilliant. It's clear and precise, with ravishing aromatics and a gorgeous texture. It's packed with complexity, a bright profile, and serious lift.
I'm very happy to be able to offer this, but I should underscore that it's a modest one. I doubt these bottles will stick around for very long.
